Barbed Broach

Barbed broaches are specially designed hand-operated instruments used to remove the dental pulp in root canal therapy.

They are working on the watch winding and filing motion during the pulp removal.

The efficacy of the instrument is due to surface notches that form the barbs.

Hand instruments are available in different lengths and numbered with color-coding heads.

Material:

The barbed broaches are built with tapered, round, soft iron wires that work excellently in pulp removal.

Application:

They are used to extirpate the dental pulp during root canal treatment.
